VR3 Media have recently won a contract to promote Liverpool Sports Park for UK Sports Parks PLC using a combination of different interactive multimedia. Mark Skinner explains…..
“Work has recently started on Liverpool Sports Park on Childwall Valley Road close to Liverpool City Centre and this is where the work begins for VR3. Our first job was to build a search engine optimised website with a strong image. As the Sports Park has not been fully tenanted yet or even built for that matter it was important that we were able to show off the space for potential tenants as well as some of the facilities for the target market. To this end we are building a 3D animation of the 9 hole golf course the gym/swimming pool and some of the other facilities. All 9 holes of the golf course are mirrored on 9 famous holes from across the world, so it was important that we got this right. After speaking to Weller Designs, the Landscape Architects we gathered all of the plans and topology together, enabling us to create an exact 3D replica. This will be placed onto the website with the animation of the rest of the build at which point our email and Google marketing campaigns can begin to both potential tenants and customers of the site.”
Using emails specifically aimed at a demographic in the geographical target area e.g. people interested in Golf, Fishing, Football, Beauty Treatments etc and a Google Adwords Campaign VR3 are encouraging visitors to the new website to look at a photorealistic animation of the new sports facility.
“The idea is that we offer incentives to new visitors to the site and ask them to sign up to receive their incentive. We are then able to market the new Sports Park to potential customers over the duration of the build with a monthly newsletter campaign. Upon completion of the Sports Park we will be creating a 360º Virtual Tour of all of the facilities which will give visitors to the website an up to the minute look at all of the facilities.
To us this is an ongoing process and there will be a number of new builds for the future so it is important that we use our resources to maximise the potential of each site.
Just before completion of the Liverpool build VR3 Media in association with Sarah Ainslie Consulting will be launching an ongoing PR and Marketing campaign utilising the local media. This in combination with our interactive products and ideas will ensure the success of Liverpool Sports Park for a long time to come.”
