As part of our ongoing working relationship with Leeds City College, VR3 are please to release our latest project, A 3D walkthrough of the Keighley campus built using the most up-to-date 3D modelling, lighting and rendering techniques. The completed animation is based on external and internal architectural plans and has been built to represent the completed building to give potential students, partners and the local community a glimpse into the future. This includes the state of the art Learning Resource Centre and Atrium as well as the Health and Beauty suites and Cafe which will be open to the general public when the new campus is officially opened.

The 3D walkthrough will be shown on mobile screens around the Keighley and Skipton as well as LCD screens within the other college education campuses. VR3 have also produced a CD ROM which offers a detailed insight into each area of the college, these will be distributed at the opening evenings that have been organised by the college.

After working as a free lance 3D design and animator with VR3 for the last 4 years, Will Hauptman has joined us permanently and will be working from our offices in Far Headingley, Leeds.  It has been a very interesting 4 years working with Will, his enthusiasm and creativity shines through every time he completes a piece of work. His passion for learning new techniques as well as his knowledge of 3DS Max (the software used to complete 3D projects) is unrivaled. To assist Will with future projects we are also developing a render farm that will allow for much smoother and time effective completion of future 3D design and animation projects.
